Temple Real Estate

The City of Temple, Texas was named after Bernard Moore Temple, the chief engineer behind the Bell County railroad system. This city embraces residents with a down-home rural Texan feel, surrounded by all the arts and culture of a true cosmopolitan city. With roots beginning in 1881, this beautiful land is surrounded by wildflowers blooming on the Blackland Prairie and boasts moderate year-round weather. This is a community worth calling home. Temple underwent many name changes in its vibrant history including Mudville, Tanglefoot, and Ratsville. Three more names that did not stick, but that do justice to the current surroundings today are Progressive Temple, Prairie Queen and City of Trees.

The neighborhoods and subdivisions in Temple truly offer every amenity available in homeownership today. Whether you are looking for a modest starter home in a condo or townhouse, or your family is ready to expand onto a sprawling ranch estate, Temple has it all. There is an abundance of subdivisions lined with older homes and surrounded by lush, mature landscaping. New homes featuring massive lots, in-ground pools and the latest in modern conveniences are also available. The real estate market in Temple is filled with affordable single family homes all the way to luxury million-dollar estates.
