Nolanville Real Estate
Situated along U.S. Highway 190, and eleven miles west of Interstate Highway 35, Nolanville lays in the rolling hills of Bell County, Texas. This small town’s convenient location is next door to Harker Heights, 5 minutes from Belton, 15 minutes from Temple, and 5 – 15 minutes from Killeen and Fort Hood – the nation’s largest military base – makes it a desirable location in which to live as it combines small-town ambiance with big-city amenities.
Currently home to 2,000 plus residents, Nolanville once housed only a few settlers along Nolan Creek back in the 1840’s. By 1882, the first passenger train ran through the small community, attracting more families and more businesses to the area. Today, Nolanville is one of the fastest-growing communities in Texas and with its prime location, unique real estate market and wonderful educational opportunities it is sure to continue that trend.

From a selection of water sports presented by Belton Lake and Lake Stillhouse to the miles of walking, jogging and biking paths of several nearby parks including Miller Springs Park and the Belton Lake Outdoor Recreational Area (BLORA). You’ll never find yourself looking for something to do in your spare time. For those who love to shop, there are many excellent antique shops found in Fredericksburg, Austin, Lampasas, and Salado. Dude Ranches located throughout the area also make for an interesting blast from the past. Finally, for history buffs, there are several museums that one can visit near Nolanville including the two military history museums at Fort Hood, Temple’s Railroad and Pioneer Museum, Bell County Museum in Belton and the Central Texas Museum in Salado.
